2. Not a Medical Service

The Service does NOT:

• Provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice.
• Replace consultation with a qualified healthcare provider or counselor.
• Manage, treat, or cure any medical or psychological condition.
• Function as telehealth or telemedicine.

3. No Real Patient Data

All patient profiles are fictional and AI-generated. DO NOT enter real, sensitive, or identifiable health information into the Service. The Service is not HIPAA-compliant and is not designed to store or process real patient data or Protected Health Information (PHI).

4. AI Limitations

The AI-powered patient simulations are generated by machine learning and may:

• Produce inaccurate or unrealistic responses.
• Miss subtle clinical nuances or patient concerns.
• Not reflect the full complexity of real patient interactions.
• Require human oversight and clinical judgment.

5. Use of Real Patient Scenarios

If you adapt real patient scenarios for practice, ensure all identifiable information is removed and the scenarios are used solely for training with appropriate consent from your institution's ethics board.

6. Feedback & Coaching Summaries

Feedback generated by the Service is AI-powered and intended as educational guidance only. It is not professional medical or therapeutic advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for supervision by qualified educators or clinical supervisors.

7. Responsibility and Liability

You are responsible for how you use the Service and for any clinical decisions you make in real-world practice. The limits on the liability of Gliance Dev LLC, a California limited liability company and the operator of MI Mastery, and your agreement to indemnify it, are set out in sections 8 and 9 of the Terms of Service. If anything in this Disclaimer conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.

8. Professional License & Credentials

The Service does not verify, endorse, or grant any professional license or credentials. Use of the Service does not certify your competence in MI or healthcare. Any credential or certification claims must be supported by accredited training and formal credentialing bodies.

9. Emergency or Crisis Situations

If you or someone else is in crisis, experiencing a medical emergency, or at risk of harm, DO NOT rely on the Service. Contact your local emergency services (911 in the US) or a crisis hotline immediately.

10. Regulatory Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional licensing requirements in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Disclaimer

This Disclaimer is part of the Terms of Service and changes the same way: if we make a material change, we will notify you and ask you to accept it before it applies to you.
